To All,
I just wanted to let everyone know that our brother Brian has booked to come down from April 17th - May 1 to drive Steve to his doctor's appointments/treatment sessions and help him out around the house.
Between now and then, should Steve be discharged from the hospital, there are a number of volunteer drivers from the Orange City area (the Wolfpack) who can drive Steve to his appointments.
Right now, a high temperature, low platelete counts, and acid reflux are working against a discharge from the hospital.
In terms of visiting Steve in the hospital, support for him is great, but so that he doesn't get overly tired and to see if we can make sure he has a visitor each day, we'd like to develop a visiting calendar. So if you want to visit Steve in the next couple of weeks, please let us know at dr.bill@wildblue.net what day(s) you're available by Monday, April 6th. We can then set up and post a calendar the next day.
Once he's discharged, we can develop and post a schedule of who can drive him to appointments and do other errands as needed.
